- The first session delves into the world of green tourism products and services. Participants will explore online resources and platforms showcasing environmentally friendly products and services, providing them with insights into green business practices and sustainable solutions tailored for tourism. This session is designed to encourage the use of eco-friendly products within local tourism businesses and organizations.
- Tea with Go Guan: Learning from a Pioneer
- A highlight of the day will be a tea session with Go Guan, a well-known advocate for community-based tourism. This experience offers a chance to sit with Go Guan, learn about his pioneering work, and engage in discussions on the value of community-focused tourism. By sharing his journey, Go Guan hopes to inspire participants to adopt similar sustainable approaches in their own tourism practices.
- Management Skills & Collaborative Tourism with the Laemsak Community Tourism Association
- In the final session, participants will gain valuable management skills from the president of the Krabi Community Tourism Association. This session will focus on building collaboration between communities and organizations to ensure tourism practices are sustainable and aligned with future goals. Participants will leave with an understanding of how to implement cooperative, forward-thinking management that respects local environments and cultures.
