Gain hands-on experience in the Thai healthcare system while participating in meaningful community medical work and cultural exchange in Southern Thailand.
The Nursing Internship is designed for students who wish to gain practical experience in healthcare while discovering a different medical environment and immersing themselves in Thai culture.
Participants work alongside local medical teams in public healthcare facilities located in the Ao Luek district of Krabi Province. Depending on the chosen facility, students may experience both hospital and outpatient care environments while learning about local healthcare practices, patient care, and community medicine in Thailand.

Ao Luek Hospital is the largest and busiest facility available for the internship program.

Students may rotate between several departments such as:
The hospital can welcome up to 8 students at the same time and regularly receives Thai nursing interns, creating a very interesting multicultural learning environment.
Students are assigned daily to departments according to the hospital’s needs by the head nurse.
The internship tutor is:
Mrs. Yui — Head Chief Nurse of Ao Luek Hospital.
Working hours generally follow the local nursing schedule:
08:30 AM – 04:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
Schedules may remain flexible depending on hospital activity.
Because this is an active public hospital receiving a large number of patients every day, students should expect a real working environment with a fast-paced atmosphere.
Students staying at Ao Luek Hospital will be accommodated approximately 10 minutes from the hospital by car.
Transportation to the facility is not included but can be arranged upon request for an additional fee.

making daily life convenient for students.

The internship tutor is:
Ms. Jiraporn Lekkham — Director of the dispensary.
Students staying in Laemsak are accommodated only 5 minutes away from the dispensary by walking distance, therefore no transportation is required.
Laemsak is a small fisherman village located by the sea, approximately 16 minutes from Ao Luek town.
Students should note:
Because of the accommodation standards and location logistics, the internship cost in Laemsak is slightly higher than in Ao Luek.
.
Students staying for a longer duration may choose to combine:
